Twenty-five years ago, our nation was forever changed.
On September 11, 2001, nearly 3,000 lives were taken in acts of unimaginable terror. Today, we remember those who went to work, boarded a plane, or began an ordinary morning and never returned home. We honor the first responders who ran toward danger, the heroes who answered the call in the days and years that followed, and the families who have carried the weight of that loss for a quarter of a century.
At our office, when we stand for the American flag, we do so with gratitude and respect. We stand in remembrance of those we lost. We stand in honor of those who served and sacrificed. And we stand for the resilience and unity our country showed in one of its darkest hours.
Twenty-five years later, may we continue to remember not only the tragedy of that day, but also the courage, compassion, service, and strength that followed.
We will never forget.
