Add in MIT, Troy's lab, Ellie, the dog park, hot pot, soup dumplings, balcony conversations, and lots of unpacking and sorting, and it made for a pretty memorable trip.

I've been a little quiet on social media lately, so here's a glimpse of life over the past few months. 💛

Cheering on my great niece at her dance recital, spending a meaningful day with my sister at a Priscilla Shirer event, enjoying a beautiful sunflower from our yard, and celebrating Mother's Day at church with my husband.

These moments remind me of my motto for 2026: Embrace Life. Live Life. Love Life. Grateful for family, faith, and the everyday blessings that make life so special.

Spent a few hours helping out at Bogue Chitto State Park's Barnyard Bash a couple of weekends ago. It's their biggest fundraiser of the year and a great excuse to stay connected to the horse world when I don't have a horse right now.

✨ This weekend had a little bit of everything — sparkle, sisterhood, and the strangely satisfying joy of blasting years of grime off of our house. 🧹

I danced with my Geaux Geauxs sisters in the Strawberry Festival parade (always a highlight!), and then came home and grabbed the pressure washer. I don't always have time during the week for big chores, but there's something about pressure washing the house that just hits the spot.
