Your Credit Union spent the morning with the and Chakeya Chapman from Connecticut State Community College at the NAACP's Wake-Up Wednesdays.

Wake Up Wednesday is a free, no‑barrier community outreach every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Unity Plaza, 259 Barbour Street, Hartford, CT, offering food, clothing, supplies, and on‑site services to residents in need.

It was a great opportunity to connect with our local community members, and we are very excited to continue partnering with these incredible, local organizations to better serve our community.

💸 Time for a Financial Check-In?

A quick self-review can help you stay on top of your money and make sure you're moving toward your goals. Here are a few smart steps to consider:

🔍 Review Your Budget
Are your income and expenses aligned? If you're off track, look for areas where you can adjust.

💰 Check Your Savings
Are you consistently setting money aside each month? If not, brainstorm ways to boost your savings. Even small amounts count.

📉 Evaluate Your Debt
Take stock of what you owe. Are you making progress? If not, explore strategies to manage or reduce your debt.

📊 Assess Your Investments
If you’re investing, how are your assets performing? It might be time for a tune-up.

🎯 Revisit Your Financial Goals
Are you still on track? If not, think about what changes you can make to realign.

A financial check-in doesn’t have to be overwhelming, but it can make a big difference.
