The Wall That Heals is here in Manchester, CT today through Sunday. It is a 3/4 scale replica of the Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial in Washington DC. This exhibit travels around the country throughout the year. Later this week it will be in Bridgeport, CT. This January it began in Hilo, HI, and will end in Panama City, FL this November.
The exhibit is open 24 hours a day. All are welcome to visit!
All 3 State Farm Agencies (Ashlee Moore, Mike Esposito, Kristian Ager,) in Manchester supported the event as a Bronze Sponsor.
Today’s event was the opening ceremony, which featured a flyover from the 103rd Airlift Wing - 118th Airlift Squadron.
We learned that 614 heros whose names are on the wall are from CT, with 14 of those young men from Manchester.
We honor all listed on the wall, all veterans, and all those who currently serve. We thank you for your service to this great country.
