🌽 HAD STORM DAMAGE TO YOUR CROPS? THIS MEETING IS FOR YOU.

Last week’s heavy winds and hail caused significant damage to area corn and soybean fields — from bent plants to crops stripped of leaves. For many farmers, that damage brings some big questions: What now?

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is hosting a Crop Damage Meeting to help farmers and landowners navigate the decisions ahead.

ISU Extension specialists will be on hand to discuss:
🌾 Options for handling and harvesting storm-damaged crops

🐄 Grazing options
💰 Other economic and management considerations

If your corn or soybeans were damaged by last week’s storm, we strongly encourage you to attend. Getting information early can help you make the best decisions for your farm.

👉 NO cost to attend. Open to the public. No registration required.

🎄 Together, We Raised $5,000 for Operation Santa Claus! ❤️

What an incredible day! During RAGBRAI's stop in Manchester, the Del Co Ag Food Stand raised $5,000 to support Operation Santa Claus and the important work they do for families across Delaware County.

This event was truly a community effort. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who volunteered their time, donated products, and stopped by to enjoy a meal. A special thank you to our partners:

Since 1990, U.S. farmers have reduced greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions per gallon of milk by 26%.

Each Friday in June, Fareway Stores Manchester shoppers have a chance to win fun dairy bundles, courtesy of Delaware County Farm Bureau and Delaware County Dairy Promoters. Customers can enter the "Friday Fun" drawing at the meat counter - no purchase necessary.
