This week the City of St. Peters experienced historical flooding. Even though the water receded, the impact and devastation for some has remained. Businesses and residential homes experienced flood damage of all levels throughout our City. If you or a loved one is one of these victims, there are resources ready to help:
The Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) is being set-up on Tuesday August 2, 3 – 8 p.m. at Element Church, 100 Mall Parkway, Suite 500 in Wentzville, to assist those impacted by the recent flooding. Those attending should bring proof of address; dinner will be provided. For more information or questions about the MARC, call St. Charles County Regional Emergency Management at 636-949-3023.
Missouri Baptist Disaster Relief will be in the area beginning Sunday, 7/31. They will have teams offering free residential cleanup to anyone impacted by the flood. Residents needing assistance can call 636-215-9246. In addition, they will have a tent set up at O’Fallon Fire Station # 3, located at 111 Laura K Road in O’Fallon, on Sunday, 7/31, from 9am – 3pm. St. Charles County residents can stop by that location as well to register for free services.
