To my real estate professionals, if your client is self-employed, we have a new mortgage solution.

The Citizens Bank Statement Home Loan accepts 12 or 24 months of personal or business bank statements for review and offers expanded DTI guidelines for qualified borrowers.

This won’t be the answer for every client, but it’s helpful to know about before assuming a self-employed buyer has limited paths forward.
