The Sustainable Insurance Strategy now being promoted by CA Department of Insurance is a step in the right direction. After decades of overregulation insurance companies rates and operations, crushing the insurance market- leaving consumers with little or no insurance choices. Rising homeowners insurance premiums appear to be playing a big role in where people decide to buy homes. So sad it's gotten to this point- I worked with several clients that are moving out of state for lower cost of Insurance.

Even before January's fires in Los Angeles, change-of-address data shows residential moves based on fire risks and insurance availability.

It is my strong belief that repealing Proposition 103 would help restore insurance options for Californians.

TOWN CLEAN-UP DAY IS COMING…

The annual Defensible Space & Community Clean-Up Event (aka Town Clean-up Day) is scheduled this year on Friday, May 17, and Saturday, May 18.

This is a pretty common occurrence in Mammoth with so many condos and the risk of pipes freezing and bursting in the winter. Here's an overview of how this process tends to go, but always check with your insurance agent if something like this happens.

It can take a while to sort out who's at fault, but if you file a claim with your insurer, it will ensure you get the money to make repairs.
