Our Story

This all started as a supplemental art project during remote learning. Dad ordered materials, and when they were on their way, told Lil & Pax the surprise. All they want to do is make new robots. They built, took some apart, had new ideas and built more. Well, now our art project has become a lesson in entrepreneurship. We gifted them startup funds. They build and sell to cover material

costs, the profit goes into the bank. The only rules are they only do it if it is fun, and they aren't allowed to touch the money.

"The Artist"

As you may remember, Lillia and Paxton received a gift of a custom made sign from our good friend and local artist, Josh Newell of Newell Creatives. A unique characteristic of his art is it is made from steel, and his pieces are mounted using magnets. Lil and Pax decided to make him this lamp as a thank you for his support and kindness. They delivered it today (and got to visit the SOAR bird sanctuary, and play with puppies!) They added a magnet mount to the easel, so Josh can add a mini art piece.

Over the weekend, our good friend and local artist Josh Newell of Newell Creatives surprised Lillia and Paxton with a custom creation of his own. It was such a huge show of support, as they both admire his art. We are overwhelmed with gratitude at his generous gift! They felt very encouraged that Josh likes their art too!

If you haven't done so, you should follow his page, he makes custom rust portraits of anything you can think of. The sign he made for the kids uses no paint, he achieves the look by applying chemicals to steel. Incredible!
