🚨PLEASE BE AWARE THAT MEDICARE PHONE SCAMS ARE ON THE RISE 🚨

Do you keep getting calls stating that your Medicare is about to expire?

These calls are a SCAM. Medicare cards NEVER expire, and Medicare will NEVER call you out of the blue to say your coverage is ending, demand money, or ask for your personal or financial information.

What Should You Do?
• Hang up immediately: Do not press any buttons or speak to the caller.
• Do not share information: Never give out your Medicare number, Social Security number, or bank details over the phone.
• Block the number: Use your phone's settings to block the incoming numbers, though scammers often use spoofed or fake numbers that change constantly.

How to Report the Scam
• Call Medicare directly at 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227) to report the call or check if your account is secure.
• Contact your state's Senior Medicare Patrol to report potential fraud.
• File a complaint online with the Federal Trade Commission or call the AARP Fraud Watch Network Helpline at 877-908-3360
