We are proud to bring back the Fisher CUSD #1 Staff Member of the Month Program! Presented by Kolby Jackson Country Financialand Brandy Simnick-Country Financial.We are able to award the monthly winner $250 to be used in their classroom or department and ultimately be spent on the kids. The nomination process is:

1) This award is open to ALL Fisher CUSD #1 staff members. This includes teachers, paraprofessionals, transportation employees, school secretaries, district office employees, lunchroom supervisors and any other Fisher CUSD #1 employee.

2) One winner will be chosen each month from September-December and January-May and presented with a $250 check to use in their classroom/department.

3) Nominees can win ONCE per school year.

4) Co-workers, parents, students, and community members are all welcome to make nominations. Kolby Jackson will select the winner each month based on nominations.

If someone is standing out as a difference maker in the district, we want them to have additional funds to spend on classroom supplies or other needs in their department. I know a lot of teachers spend personal funds to enhance the classroom experience, so hopefully this helps alleviate some of that burden.

Mahomet-Seymour CUSD #3 Staff Member of the Month Program is back for the 2026-2027 school year!

Thanks in part to Jenny Snodsmith - Realty Select One! We are able to award the monthly winner $350 to be used in their classroom or department and ultimately be spent on the kids. The nomination process is the same:..
1) This award is open to ALL M-S #3 staff members. This includes teachers, paraprofessionals, transportation employees, school secretaries, district office employees, lunchroom supervisors and any other M-S #3 employee.

3) Nominees from last Spring are still on record and can win this Fall.

We are sad to be saying goodbye to Danielle Knox today. She’s been a tremendous part of our team for over 3 years and has done a great job serving our community. Her commitment to exceptional service has been a great benefit to our office and clients. I’ve been fortunate to know the Knox family since 2012, and they will be missed in Mahomet and at the U of I. We are grateful for your hard work and wish you well in your homecoming and next part of your journey. Thank you for everything!

Congratulations to Amy McElroy for winning the May 2026 Mahomet-Seymour CUSD #3 Staff Member of the Month Award! Presented by Jenny Snodsmith - Realty Select One and Kolby Jackson Country Financial. Mrs. McElroy is a third-grade teacher at Lincoln Trail Elementary. She wins $350 to use in her classroom!

Amy says her favorite part of her profession is:

“I love teaching third grade because it's the stage where students are taking the foundational skills they've learned and applying them across all content areas in meaningful ways. It's exciting to watch their confidence and independence grow throughout the year as they rise to the challenge!”

Congratulations to Morgan Wilson for winning the May 2026 Fisher CUSD #1 Staff Member of the Month Award! Presented by Kolby Jackson Country Financial and Brandy Simnick-Country Financial. Mrs. Wilson is a fifth-grade teacher at Fisher Grade School. She wins $250 to use in her classroom!

Mrs. Wilson says her favorite part of her profession is:

“My favorite part of teaching is the relationships I get to have with my students. Our class truly is a family, and I love spending time watching my students grow both in and outside of the classroom throughout the year! I'm also incredibly grateful to work as part of the Fisher team, where both our school staff and Fisher families are such a gift!”

Oakland says her favorite part of her profession is:
“I feel this is really a team effort with my office co-workers Kiara and Krystal. The three of us have the same idea of what a front office should be like, which is to make everyone feel welcomed, seen and cared for when they walk into Lincoln Trail...while having a little fun with it.

I may be answering phones, the doorbell, calming chaos, fixing printer meltdowns, handing out ice packs, or giving morning pep talks — but the best part is knowing every bit of it matters. I’m grateful to be part of the heartbeat of a place that impacts kids every single day.”
