🏆🏈 Congratulations to the Sweetwater Wildcats, the 2026 Kings of the County after a dominant 42-6 victory tonight over the Tellico Plains Bears! 🏈🏆

The Wildcats came out in the second half swinging and never let up, ending Tellico Plains’ two-year winning streak and claiming the helmet trophy and $500 from Volunteer Federal. We look forward to celebrating your victory with you next week!

💗 For the Love of Dolly: Working 9 to 5 for Little Readers 📚💗

Today, Volunteer Federal is honoring the life and legacy of Dolly Parton by supporting a cause close to her heart. Dolly gave us unforgettable music, laughter and inspiration, but one of her most meaningful gifts was her commitment to helping children dream big through the power of books.

At all of our branches today, we are collecting donations for the Monroe County Imagination Library. Every donation will help put books into the hands of young children in our community.

Please join us as we continue a legacy that will inspire little dreamers for generations to come.

Join us this Thursday, Sept. 3, as we honor the incredible life and legacy of Dolly Parton by supporting a cause close to her heart.

Dolly gave us unforgettable music, laughter and inspiration, but one of her most meaningful gifts was her commitment to helping children dream big through the power of books.

To honor her memory, Volunteer Federal employees will be wearing pink and/or Dolly-themed shirts, and we’ll be collecting donations for the Monroe County Imagination Library at all of our branches and drive thrus. Every donation will help put books into the hands of young children in our community.
