After years of serving our customers with kindness, compassion, and a smile, our sweet Lovey is retiring from Volunteer Federal. While we are so happy for her, she will be deeply missed by both our team and the Tellico Plains community she has cared for so faithfully over the years.

We would love your help in showing Lovey just how much she means to all of us!

Stop by our Tellico Plains branch now through June 18 during business hours to write a note in a special scrapbook we are putting together for Lovey. Want to include a favorite memory? Feel free to bring a copy of a photo to add as well.

We will also have a gift box available at the branch for anyone who would like to leave a card or small gift for Lovey.

Just follow these steps:
1️⃣ Log into online or mobile banking
2️⃣ On the home dashboard screen, scroll down to the "Card Management" section
3️⃣ Tap the airplane icon ✈️
4️⃣ Select β€œ+ Add travel notice” and enter your trip details

🚨 Scam Alert 🚨

We have been made aware that fraudsters are randomly sending texts in the Monroe County area asking recipients to confirm a debit card transaction. If someone responds, they are then contacted directly from a spoofed Volunteer Federal Main Office phone number.

If you receive a call or text claiming to be from Volunteer Federal, please do not respond or provide any information. Instead, hang up and contact Volunteer Federal directly to verify whether the communication is legitimate.

⚠️ Remember:
β€’ Volunteer Federal will never ask for sensitive account information through unsolicited calls or texts.
β€’ We will never ask for your card number if we contact you.
β€’ If something feels suspicious, don’t respond to the message.
β€’ If you have provided any personal or account information to someone, please contact us immediately so we can help protect your account.

You can set up alerts and controls on your debit cards so you can choose to be notified when your card is used, set transaction restrictions within spending limits, prevent certain transactions and more. To set up alerts or manage your debit card, sign into your Volunteer Federal online banking account. Select β€œAccounts,” then select the appropriate account. Go to β€œCard Management” and choose the debit card you want to manage. Tap β€œAlerts and Protection” and choose the controls you would like to apply to that card.

If you receive any suspicious text, email, call, or other communication referencing Volunteer Federal or your accounts, please report it to us right away, so we can work to shut down these scam attempts.
