We checked with my bank for a home loan, and was told "no" with no direction on how to move forward. After searching the internet, we found Guild and saw great reviews. After talking to Ryan the first time, he said the loan wasn't possible with where we were at, but then gave us concrete steps to take so the "no" can turn into a "yes". He gave us a year to do what he recommended and offered to check back on us. A year goes by, and Guild reaches out before I could, and we set up a meeting. We got preapproved for a home loan! We did everything that Ryan suggested, and was able to purchase our first home with no pain, no struggle and was supported the entire way! The entire team at Guild was knowledgeable, confident and shared everything with us along the way. Buying a home for the first time is overwhelming and was confusing at time, but every question I asked was answered promptly and with clarity. At signing, it was mentioned that it surprised everyone how informed we were about the loan numbers because other home buyers typically don't come as prepared as we did. We have Guild to thank for that! I will be only using Guild in the future and will recommend them to everyone I know.
