🎒 Back-to-School Throwback! ✏️

Check out this throwback photo of Erik Valenza from his first-grade days at St. Peter's in Rockford!

One of Erik's favorite memories from first grade was his teacher, Mrs. Vaughn. He remembers her as being hilarious and making learning fun.

Erik later attended Boylan Catholic High School, where he enjoyed playing baseball and football. From crayons to a career in the financial industry, he's now spent 16 years helping clients work toward their financial goals.

🎒 It's Back-to-School Time! ✏️

Here's a throwback to Brady's kindergarten days in Waunakee!

She loved her teacher, enjoyed putting on a circus with her classmates, and had her own special nap time mat. But like many kids, the first day of school was tough. Brady cried the entire way to school because she didn't want to be away from her mom.

Fast forward to today, and she's all smiles. From starring in a kindergarten circus to juggling the many tasks that keep our Madison office running smoothly, that early circus experience must have come in handy!

🎒 Back-to-School Throwback! ✏️

Check out team member Paul Hees' high school yearbook photos! Paul attended Tremper High School in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where his favorite classes were German and French.

One of the highlights of his high school years was spending a month in Germany between his sophomore and junior years. The trip gave him the opportunity to connect with his German heritage, spend time with family, and immerse himself in the culture and language. To this day, Paul speaks fluent German.

Fun fact: In one of the photos, Paul is standing in front of a German castle, with the words above him translating to "Castle of the Younger Hees" in English.

What foreign language did you study in school? Have you had the chance to use it later in life?

We're sharing a few throwback photos of Aaron from his days at Northern Hills Elementary and Onalaska Junior High in Onalaska, Wisconsin.

Back then, his favorite subjects were math and shop class. His interest in numbers stuck with him and eventually led him to a career in the financial industry.

Today, Aaron is our CEO and a Private Wealth Advisor. After 24 years of helping clients work toward their financial goals, it's safe to say those math classes paid off.

We're taking a trip down memory lane with this throwback photo of Darren from his junior high days in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, complete with a full head of curls!

One of Darren's favorite teachers was Denny White, who was both his science teacher and basketball coach 🏀. Fun fact: Darren started driving to school at age 14 with a school permit when he was in 9th grade.

Back then, he stayed busy playing basketball and football. These days, you'll find him putting that same dedication to work as an advisor in the office.
