Estate planning is the process of arranging and organizing the management and transfer of your assets both while living and after death. Estate planning includes the bequest of assets to heirs and the settlement of estate taxes and debt. It can also include guardianship of minor children or pets.

Most estate planning takes place with an attorney, but there are websites that can help walk you through it. It’s still a good idea to meet with an attorney to make sure you consider all assets, debts accounts and the creation of a will.

Members of NGL's Preneed Sales Team met up with partners at the 108th Cremation Association of North America Convention in Minneapolis and even emceed a few sessions on stage.

Stepping up as emcee was an absolute blast, but the real highlight was connecting with some of the absolute best people in the profession," said Matthew McKearn, RVP of Sales. Members of our team joined more than 800 people to participate in United Way of Dane County's Day of Caring event to kick off its 2026 Community Campaign.

Together, they created more than 21,000 ImPacks, essential care kits, that directly support nonprofit partners. NGL was a sponsor of the ImPacks. We are proud of our team members for generously volunteering their time to give back and help others.

Hands down, one of the best parts of attending National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association, Inc. (NFDMA) Annual Convention is getting to return to the same vibrant community of funeral professionals year after year. Our team left feeling energized, engaged and grateful.

We recently returned from this year’s Producer Circle trip to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, where we soaked up the sun, splashed in the waves and sipped delicious, colorful cocktails. But more than that, we got to spend time and reunite with the partners that make NGL the company it is today.

NGL celebrates its hardworking partners with luxurious trips each year. To do this, we hosted a sandcastle-building competition, went on thrilling excursions, lounged in the pool and celebrated everyone’s hard work during awards events.
