We are proud to announce our 2026 Legends of The Movement inductees! For over 45 years, including 21 as CEO, former Heartland Credit Union President & CEO Sally Dischler dedicated her career to The Credit Union Movement, evolving Heartland Credit Union from a modest institution into one of the leading financial cooperatives in southwestern Wisconsin. Her vision and strategic guidance led to an expanded charter, enhanced services, and broader community outreach, all aligned with the core philosophy of "People Helping People."

Sally's commitment to The Movement was evident in every facet of her work. Members were placed at the heart of every decision, she was a generous mentor who fostered a culture of trust and empowerment, she tirelessly advocated for credit union education through her service to multiple industry groups, and she remained dedicated to community engagement through outreach and partnership initiatives that helped build stronger, more vibrant communities.

Sally's influence extends far beyond Heartland Credit Union, as her leadership has strengthened The Movement across Wisconsin and has inspired many.
