Effective July 1, 2026, Georgia increased the required Motor Vehicle Dealer Bond amount from $35,000 to $50,000. If you currently have an active $35,000 Georgia Used Motor Vehicle Dealer Bond with our agency through BOSS Bonds, no immediate action is needed. Your existing bond remains valid through its current term, with no mid-term increase or rider required.

The bond amount will automatically increase to $50,000 at your September 30, 2026 renewal.
