🌞🍅 The Macon Area Farmers Market Series continues THIS SATURDAY, June 27th from 9 AM to noon downtown — starting at the Bourke St. Community Garden, spreading through the green space in the middle of the square and THROUGHOUT downtown! 🌻🥕🌽

For our second market of the season, we’re excited to welcome a special guest, Carrie Elsen, from MU Extension who’ll be performing a salsa cooking demo in the garden at various times between 10 AM and 12 PM. 🌶️👩‍🍳 Don’t miss this tasty highlight!

The Political Action Committee (PAC) has endorsed Nathan Willett for election in Missouri’s Sixth Congressional District.

“Agriculture is the backbone of Missouri’s Sixth Congressional District, and northern Missouri farmers and ranchers are proud to stand behind Nathan Willett in his campaign for Congress,” said Missouri Farm Bureau President Garrett Hawkins. “Nathan has shown he’s ready to roll up his sleeves and fight for rural Missouri by taking the time to listen to farmers and understand the challenges facing agriculture. We’re excited to join his campaign at the ground level and work side-by-side to ensure Missouri agriculture has a strong, respected voice in Washington, D.C.”
