The Newton County Farm Bureau Women's Committee had a wonderful time attending the District 3 Women's Meeting!

Members enjoyed a tour of Love is Love Farm in Mansfield, GA, a certified organic farm that grows a beautiful variety of vegetables and flowers. It was a great opportunity to learn more about local agriculture and sustainable farming practices.

Following the tour, members gathered for lunch at the Mansfield Community House Center and heard an informative presentation on advocacy from Amelia Holland with Georgia Farm Bureau.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this a great day of learning, fellowship, and agricultural advocacy! 🌱🌻🚜

Newton County Farm Bureau had a fantastic time at the 2026 GFB Spring Shootout!

Team Newton enjoyed a day on the course while supporting the Georgia Foundation for Agriculture. From friendly competition and great food to exciting raffles and prizes, it was a fun-filled event and a wonderful opportunity to support agriculture across Georgia. 🚜🌱

🎉📚 Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss! 📚🎉

In celebration of Read Across America Week, Newton County Farm Bureau partnered with Jeanette Adams Zeigler Library in Newborn to host a wonderful birthday celebration on Monday!

Everyone who attended received a special bag filled with a book and fun goodies! We sang “Happy Birthday” to Dr. Seuss, enjoyed delicious cake, completed a Cat in the Hat activity, and spent time reading together.

It was a fantastic day celebrating the joy of reading and honoring such a beloved author! ❤️📖✨

We had a blast getting creative and making the cutest cow head candles! It was such a fun and unique experience, and everyone did an amazing job.

Members and FFA students from Newton County Farm Bureau proudly attended GFB Day at the Capitol, advocating for Georgia’s farmers and the future of agriculture.

Speakers included Senator Russ Goodman, Representative Robert Dickey, Ag Commissioner Tyler Harper, Speaker of the House Jon Burns, and Lt. Governor Burt Jones.

We extend our sincere thanks to our legislators for their hard work and continued support of Georgia agriculture! 🌾👏
