Chapter 199 Barnesville
🇺🇸 A Symbol of Pride, Service, and Community 🇺🇸
Lamar County Animal Services is incredibly proud and honored to share that we are partnering with WoodmenLife - Georgia Central Chapter 199 to install our very own flagpole at the shelter. This generous gift represents far more than a structure — it stands as a symbol of unity, service, and shared pride in our community and our country.
With the support of Lamar County Public Works, we look forward to raising both the United States Flag and the State of Georgia Flag, allowing them to fly proudly at our facility for all to see.
As a veteran-managed shelter, this moment holds special meaning for us. Displaying our nation’s colors is a reflection of our respect, gratitude, and commitment to service — values we strive to uphold every day for our animals and our community.
We are deeply thankful for the organizations and individuals who continue to support Lamar County Animal Services. This project is a true example of what can be accomplished when our community comes together.
Special thank you to Ms. Diane and all the members of Chapter 199.
More updates to come as this meaningful project takes shape! 🇺🇸❤️
