To celebrate National Pecan month we'll be sharing some of our favorite recipes that use this delicious nut.

Did you know Georgia leads the country in pecan production? In fact, Georgia has been a top pecan producing state since the 1800s. Pecans contain more than 19 vitamins and minerals including vitamin A, vitamin E, folic acid, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and zinc.

A great tradition for the Berrien Livestock Exhibitors is the Friday hamburger lunch provided by the Berrien County Farm Bureau. This year Mr. Parrish Akins grill excellent ACE beef burgers produced in Berrien County. Exhibitors even got to visit with two great Americans, Georgia Agricultural Commissioner Tyler Harper and State Farm Bureau President Tom McCall.
