First Security Bank - FSB Member FDIC, equal housing lender First Security Banks was founded in 1907 as the First National Bank of Mackinaw.

A few years later the bank purchased the original Mackinaw Bank which was founded in 1882. In the mid 1960's the bank changed to a state chartered bank and the name was changed to First Security Bank. The mission of First Security Bank has always been to serve the financial needs of the local community. Over the last 125 years, First Security Banks has grown to over $75 million in assets and four

branches. The Makinaw Banking Center is the headquarters of the corporation. Branches were added in Heritage Lake in 1998, Deer Creek in 2002, and Danvers in 2008. The bank prides itself on offering a full menu of financial services, including commercial, agriculture, and consumer loans, all types of savings and checking accounts, investment services, on-line and mobile banking, and four full service branches with 24 hour ATM's at each location. First Security Bank is the only locally owned bank in the communities we serve.

We were honored to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for The Farmhouse Early Learning and Development Center and celebrate the opening of a wonderful new business dedicated to serving local families and children in our community.

At First Security Bank, we believe community banking is about more than loans — it’s about investing in people, families, and the future of the communities we serve. We were proud to finance this project from the ground up and help bring this vision to life.

As part of the celebration, we were also excited to donate one free month of childcare to a family in need through The Farmhouse Early Learning & Development Center.

Congratulations to the entire Farmhouse team on their beautiful new facility and this exciting milestone. We wish you many years of success impacting children and families throughout our area!
