Add up your Joe Beans, Starbucks, La Carretta, etc that you eat on a daily or weekly basis and that’s your life insurance policy payment each month.

Plus the younger you get your policy the cheaper it will be. Also, get your policy before those preexisting conditions set in or get worse.

Yes, you have insurance. Great! But, is it going to fully cover any needs?

Last week I went to visit a lady, she had her government insurance from her old job and she had just purchased some more last year. I was about to leave and we started talking about her other debts, student loans, etc that she had. It was then she realized she may not have enough money.

Did you know each birthday that passes the more life insurance will cost you? But once you lock in a rate it won’t go up for the life of your policy.

Imagine being a healthy 34 year old female who doesn’t smoke only paying $77 a month for a $100,000 whole life insurance policy. But at 34 she thought she did need life insurance so she waited until she was 44. Now that same policy is going to cost her $121 a month. And had she got the same policy 10 years earlier at age 24, she would only be paying $55.

That doesn’t even take into consideration health and if she would even be able to qualify for the same plan 10 years later.

Moral of the story is: don’t put off tomorrow what you can do today. Get the life insurance while you are young and healthy, don’t wait until it’s too late. There are polices for every situation, but the tougher the situation the more terms the policies come with and the higher the price for those polices.

The answer is YES, single people do need life insurance! The right time to get insurance is NOW! There is no stipulation that you have to be married with a spouse and kids to get insurance. I know “you’ll be dead, so it won’t be your problem”. A lot of people don’t realize that the debt they have doesn’t just disappear once they pass away. Don’t leave your family with the stress of closing out your estate, having to worry about funeral cost, or just cost of living in general (if you are the bread winner of your family)

Days like today are the reasons I switched from the customer service side of life insurance to selling.
There are so many people who don’t know what they have and get taken advantage of by an agent “ just trying to get a buck”.
Do I make money off of each policy I sell? Yes! But what I don’t do and will NEVER do is sell a policy to someone just so I can get paid and not worry about if it’s suitable or they need it.
I visited someone who is now my new client today and by the time I left her house, 3 hours later, we had start a fraud case with one company she found out she had multiple policies with. (These were policies she did not authorize). She had just got out the hospital in March and another policy was going to lapse in 6 days and she didn’t know, so I had paperwork sent to me to add me as agent on that one and help her get that one back on track. And then when all of that was done we was able to eliminate multiple other policies and get her into one policy with a lesser premium and a higher death benefit!

I love what I do and I love helping people. My joy from that entire experience was helping her all her other policies that she didn’t know nothing about. And getting her situated with her policy that was going to terminate on her. And letting her know that I am not an agent that will sell you a policy and forget about you, I am an agent that will help the entire way.
