This week’s State Farm Gridiron Player of the Week is Jon Harper Kilcrease. What makes a special player does not always show up on the stat sheet. Due to an injury to the starting QB, Jon Harper stepped up, changed positions (of which he had never played before) and led the Bulldogs in their most heated rivals Luverne Tigers. Even though the Bulldogs lost in a close one, Jon Harper showed poise and leadership. Coach Roland Jones said of Jon Harper, “He is a team player and does whatever it takes to help the team. He works hard at being great at everything he does. He comes early and stays late and puts in a lot oh hours away from mandatory time for practice. “
