It is with sadness that we make this post.
Payne Insurance Agency, established by Steve Payne in 1975, will be closing its doors effective April 18th 2025.
We have represented Rockingham Insurance as exclusive agents since 1975. We are the longest running agency with 50 years of service.
We want to thank our customers, who have become friends throughout these last 50 years. Thank you for your friendship, and memories made. The many stories and laughs shared will not be forgotten. Thank you for your loyalty to us and Rockingham Insurance.
Customers/friends how will you get your policies serviced?
We are not aware of any plans by Rockingham Insurance to put an agent here in Page County, but the home office in Harrisonburg will be able to assist you with your policies.

Where are we going…
We will still be around, but have moved into different career paths. We thank you for your prayers during this transition.
