Chinese open source models are killing American frontier models and I’m not sure that America has an answer for it. It’s not just the models, it’s also the tools around the models. This isn’t basic consumer information, this is a literal business game changer. Deepseek V4 Flash is a model that you can run locally and actually have a persistent AI agent that can run as an individual employee indefinitely given the right harness. We live in crazy times

The internet made education wildly accessible if you have access to the internet, which honestly there are a ton of people who don’t which is wildly unfortunate. Imagine if we spent 1.7 trillion on infrastructure what our education and healthcare systems would look like 🤷‍♂️ who knows. Your public library, which you should support. YouTube, and AI has made access to information, educational information easily accessible. If you’re willing to spend the time it takes to learn.
