Today is a big Happy Birthday to Aurora Strategic Advisors. We are entering our 10th year and still growing!

I remember when I first opened our doors to provide the community with a new source of investment advice like it was yesterday.

Every year in business has been exciting, but 2024 has been one for the record books. While the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq have been setting new records, so have Aurora Strategic Advisors.

So far this year, we have brought on more new clients in the first half than any previous year.

It will always stay in my memory that some people told me there were enough financial people in the area and a new firm wouldn't succeed in Lumberton.

I am glad I paid no attention to what I was hearing. As we grew, the community spoke, and we were voted several times as the Robesonian People's Choice as the Best Financial Planner.

Today, we have offices in Lumberton and Pembroke.

Three years ago, I brought my son Zackary in from Colorado to continue the mission of Aurora Strategic Advisors for our clients and their children.

We will continue to help teachers, nurses, doctors, medical techs, engineers, dentists, veterinarians, business owners, contractors, plumbers, IT techs, retirees, employees in several school districts, linemen, and social workers, and individuals in a variety of other industries.

We will continue to offer our clients original, unique investment solutions for the 401k and 403b market and new investing concepts.

I want to say "Thank You" to all my clients, my wife, and my family. I feel blessed by the Lord above for my health, knowledge, and opportunity.

Finally, I want to thank the community for embracing me, Aurora, and our vision of a better financial future for our clients and their legacies.

North Carolina is experiencing more frequent and intense rainfall events, increasing the risk of flooding even in areas that were previously considered low-risk.
