PRIMARY ROLE:

Help to maintain a high level of client service and satisfaction by presenting a professional image via phone and in person

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent

Prior experience as a receptionist (or equivalent position) in a professional environment working with the public, handling high volume of incoming calls is a positive

Experience working with basic multiple line PBX phone system w/monitor Screen and scanning/document management technology preferred

Basic automation skills, including Word, Excel, document management software, and Outlook

“Grace under pressure”

DUTIES:

Day-to-day responsibility for answering phones and properly routing calls

Properly handle incoming and outgoing mail, scanning all incoming documents into agency document management system each day

Retrieve documents from carrier websites as appropriate from carrier websites for handling by Account Managers

Receive and direct visitors to the appropriate party/department

Monitor and order supplies as appropriate

Train staff in the use of phone system

Aid clients in making policy payments direct to carriers

All other duties as assigned by Operations Manager
