💝 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime.
💝 Breast cancer can occur at any age, although the average age of diagnosis is 62.
💝 Early detection is crucial - when caught early, the five-year survival rate is 99%.
💝 Talk to your doctor about any risk factors and get regular mammograms as recommended.
💝 The United States Preventive Services Task Force recommends mammograms every two years for women aged 50-74 with average risk.
💝 Women aged 40-49 should consult their doctor to determine when to start and how often to get screened.
💝 Effective treatments for breast cancer are available, and survival rates have been improving.
