We’re proud to introduce Beyond the Banner, a new AgTexas program awarding $500 gifts to 50 young livestock exhibitors across our 43-county territory in recognition of the hard work they put into their livestock projects.

For many on the AgTexas team, our own passion for agriculture started in the show ring. Beyond the Banner is our way of celebrating the next generation putting in the early mornings, long hours and dedication that come with showing livestock — and discovering their own love for agriculture along the way.

Recipients must be the child of a current AgTexas customer. Awards are distributed on a first come, first serve basis.

Applications open today!

At the tailgate, we partnered with Plains Cotton Growers, Inc. to celebrate Texas cotton farming families. We also had the opportunity to host Congressional Staff from the Senate Committee on Agriculture, House Committee on Agriculture, and the House Ag Appropriations Committee, in addition to staff members of Congressman Ronny Jackson and Congressman John Carter’s teams.

We appreciate the hard work of these Congressional Staffers and their dedication to Texas agriculture.

The first ever Texas Ag Leadership Exchange was a gathering of young, beginning and small producers from across the state. AgTexas is proud to have hosted this event alongside Texas Farm Credit.

Speakers with industry expertise ranging from succession planning to agricultural economics, advice from producers who have “been there and done that,” and an update on the Farm Bill were some of the highlights.

At the conclusion of the presentations, guests and speakers were treated to a tour of TX Wh***ey Distillery followed by some fun in the Fort Worth Stockyards.
