AgYouth of the Month recognizes outstanding high school seniors involved in 4-H and FFA who are making an impact in the classroom, their communities and the future of agriculture.

Selected honorees will:
• Receive a $1,000 scholarship
• Be recognized as an AgYouth of the Month honoree
• Be invited to attend the AgYouth of the Month banquet in their region

The grit, talent, and passion of rodeo capture the interest of people worldwide, but for C.K. and Ashlee Reid, the dedication and love for rodeo exists in every decision they make and has defined how they live their lives.

The Reid's company, Double R Rodeo Ranch, is the stock contractor for the Stockyards Championship Rodeo at the Cowtown Coliseum in Forth Worth, Texas. To have 52 weekends per year guaranteed for rodeo contracts is a rare opportunity for stock contractors, but one that sets very high expectations on the Double R Rodeo team.

Double R Rodeo Ranch was originated in 1937 by Roland and Mary Jo Reid. Eighty-eight years later, C.K. and Ashlee supplied stock for 146 rodeo performances at Cowtown Coliseum, 48 PBR performances, and 210 bull riding competitions at Billy Bob's Texas in 2025.

This month, AgTexas had the honor of co-hosting the Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs, Luke Lindberg, alongside our friends at Texas Farm Bureau. We had meaningful conversations about the future of farming and supporting producers, plus we had the opportunity to highlight how an AgTexas customer is using drone technology in agriculture.
