Through our partnership with EVERFI, we offered financial literacy programs to six low-to-moderate-income schools last school year. A total of 588 students participated in these programs, resulting in over 600 hours of financial literacy education. We are continuing this partnership during the 2026-2027 school year to provide students with relevant and timely financial education. We are thankful that our schools, educators, and financial literacy partners see the importance of financial literacy in preparing students for life outside the classroom.

Last week, City Bank employees spent the evening volunteering with Lubbock Impact, serving dinner. Every week, Lubbock Impact provides a hot meal to those in need while ministering to everyone in attendance. In addition to its weekly meal, Lubbock Impact offers a shoe, coat, and hygiene closet, as well as a dental and medical clinic to those who qualify.
