Finish strong, Red Raiders! 💪📚 Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) is evaluated annually after spring grades post, so this semester matters.

To stay eligible for financial aid, you must meet three SAP standards:
✔️ GPA – Meet the required pure GPA
✔️ Pace – Complete a minimum % of coursework based on your classification
✔️ Timeframe – Finish your degree within 150% of the program length

If you're not meeting SAP, you’ll get an email from us. After that, you can view your SAP appeal requirements in Raiderlink under the Financial Aid menu. 🔴⚫

Navigating through your financial aid options is a vital part of planning your college journey. We’re here to ensure you’re supported with up-to-date information as you get ready for the next academic year. 🌟

Starting in early March, Texas Tech will begin receiving batches of Institutional Student Information Records (ISIR). This means we’ll have the latest Student Aid Index (SAI) tables to accurately calculate your financial aid package, ensuring it’s based on the most current data. 📈

As soon as we get the details from the Department of Education, we’re committed to evaluating your financial aid eligibility and finalizing your personalized package swiftly. Haven’t submitted your 2024-2025 FAFSA to Texas Tech yet?

Hey Future Red Raiders,

We know you all have been waiting eagerly for the FAFSA to open. Well the “Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)” for the 2024-2025 academic year is now available periodically through a soft launch period.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT THE SOFT LAUNCH

You may be unable to access the FAFSA due to periods of maintenance downtime throughout January. The form is expected to be fully available later in January and February. There is still plenty of time to submit the FAFSA before the March 15th priority deadline.
Although you may be able to complete the form, FSA will not transmit your FAFSA to any institution until late January.

Upon submission, you will receive a confirmation email from FSA noting your submission date, estimated Student Aid Index (SAI), and estimated Federal Pell Grant eligibility.
You will receive an email when your FAFSA Submission Summary is available to view online.

If you don’t already have an FSA ID, all students and parents contributing to the FAFSA will need to create an account on https://studentaid.gov/
