Self-Care Sunday 💙
Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish—it’s what helps you show up at your best, both at work and at home. Sometimes self-care is as simple as slowing down, getting enough rest, moving your body, or making time for something you enjoy.

Consider this your Sunday reminder to recharge before the week ahead. Which one are you checking off today? ☕📖💧

We believe supporting employee well-being is an important part of building healthier, happier workplaces.

Great Culture Doesn’t Happen by Accident

Company culture is more than a mission statement on the wall. It’s how your employees experience your organization every single day.
How you communicate. How you lead. How you recognize people. How you support them. And ultimately, whether your team feels connected to the organization they’re helping build.
This week, we’re sharing a great read from Gallup about why company culture matters and what leaders can do to intentionally build a stronger one.

Because when employees feel connected to the culture, everyone benefits — your people, your customers, and your organization.
A strong workplace starts with taking care of the people who make it possible.

Healthy Teams Start With Healthy Workplaces
Supporting your employees goes beyond what happens on a benefits enrollment form. It’s also about creating a workplace where people feel valued, supported, heard, and equipped to succeed.

This week, we’re sharing a great read from the American Psychological Association with 5 ways employers can help improve employee mental health and build a healthier workplace.
Small changes in how we lead, communicate, and support our teams can make a meaningful difference — not only for employees, but for the strength of the organization as a whole.

Take a few minutes to give it a read 👇

✨ HR isn’t just policies and paperwork—it’s people.
Refresh your HR mindset by asking:
⭐Do our benefits still match our team’s needs?
⭐Are we making it easy for employees to understand their options?
⭐What would make onboarding feel more human?

Let’s simplify and elevate your approach together.

Fun Fact Friday... Office Edition!
Every office has that one item that has somehow survived every move, remodel, new employee, and technology upgrade. 😂
Maybe it's...
☕ The coffee mug you've had since your first day
📎 A stapler that's practically part of the team
🖥️ A keyboard that has definitely seen better days
🪴 Or the office plant that no one knows who actually owns

So we're curious...
What's the oldest thing sitting on your desk or in your office right now?
Bonus points if you tell us how old it actually is. 👇😂
No judgment from us—we're impressed by the commitment!

Your most dependable employees may be carrying more than you realize.

We often measure workload by deadlines, hours worked, and completed tasks. But what about the work that doesn't show up on a report?
Remembering the details. Keeping projects moving. Helping coworkers. Anticipating problems. Being the person everyone turns to when something needs to get done.

This Harvard Business Review article takes an interesting look at the “invisible work” employees carry and how that mental load can contribute to burnout, disengagement, and ultimately turnover.

For business owners, managers, and HR professionals, it's a great reminder to look beyond what's on someone's task list and pay attention to who's quietly carrying the weight.

📖 This week's read: The Invisible Work Draining Your Best Employees: https://loom.ly/D_NFFe8
💬 Something to think about: Who is the person everyone turns to on your team—and are you making sure they're supported, too?

Most leaders assess workload through hours, deadlines, and output, but these measures overlook the mental load employees carry: the ongoing cognitive and emotional effort required to manage tasks, relationships, and coordination at work and at home. When these loads collide, they fragment attention,...

🎒 TEAM TUESDAY | Back to School, Back to Busy
The last week of August means school is officially back in session for many families — and with it comes a whole new balancing act.
School drop-offs. Practices. Homework. Appointments. New routines. And, of course, work.
For employers and leaders, this is a great reminder that a little understanding can make a BIG difference for your team.

💙 Be mindful of changing family schedules.
💙 Encourage open communication.
💙 Offer flexibility when the role allows it.
💙 Remind employees about benefits and resources available to them.
💙 Give everyone a little grace as new routines fall into place.

Supporting your employees doesn't always require a new program or big initiative. Sometimes it's simply creating a workplace where people know they can communicate what they need and feel supported while getting the job done.
When we take care of our people, we build stronger teams.

Motivation Monday 💙
A great workplace isn’t built on perks alone — it’s built on people feeling valued, supported and connected.

This week, we’re sharing a great read from the American Psychological Association about the importance of belonging in the workplace and the role leaders can play in creating it.
Sometimes the biggest impact starts with something simple: listening, recognizing someone’s contribution, checking in and creating a culture where people know they matter.
