Remembering Our East Tennessee Queen

There will never be another quite like Dolly.

She’s more than a country music legend. She’s a piece of East Tennessee — woven into the mountains, the music, the stories, and the hearts of the people who grew up loving her.

Dolly has always reminded us that you can come from humble beginnings, stay true to who you are, work hard, be kind, and still dream bigger than anyone could imagine.

Today, we are remembering a woman whose voice reached around the world, but whose heart always seemed to belong right here in the Smokies.

Thank you, Dolly, for giving us so much music, laughter, love and pride in where we come from. 🧡
