Today, we pause in solemn gratitude. We remember the men and women who wore the uniform of our nation, who stood in harm’s way, and who gave their lives so that others might live in freedom. Their courage was not an accident; it was a choice. And their sacrifice is a debt we can never fully repay. 🙏❤️🇺🇸
Almighty God,
We come before You with hearts both heavy and thankful.
Heavy, because we feel the absence of those who gave their last full measure of devotion. Thankful, because their sacrifice has preserved the liberties we hold dear. We ask You to grant eternal rest to our fallen service members. May their souls find peace in Your presence, and may their memory be a guiding light for generations to come.
Comfort the families who bear the weight of loss. Wrap them in Your unfailing love, give them strength for each new day, and remind them that their loved one’s service was not in vain. Inspire us, Lord, to live lives worthy of their sacrifice, to stand for justice, to protect the vulnerable, and to cherish the freedoms they fought to defend. We pray this in Your holy name.
