Whether you are purchasing, renting, selling a home or you plan on staying in the same home forever- everyone could use some cleaning tips and hacks!
⬇️Below are some of the things we swear by in our household. Most all of these supplies you can purchase at The Dollar Tree.
⭐️Use half cut lemons to wipe down faucets. This completely removes hard water stains.
⭐️Put White Vinegar in a plastic freezer bag and then wrap it around your shower heads. This will remove scum and dirt
⭐️To make an incredible homemade carpet stain remover, in a sq**rt bottle add 1/4 White Vinegar, a tablespoon of dawn dish-soap and then fill the rest with water. Let it sit on the stains for about 5-10 minutes and blot with a towel.
⭐️Use old/extra pillow cases to wipe dust off of fan blades. No more dust in your face and everywhere else or having to remove the blades every times they need cleaned
⭐️Using tongs, wrap both ends with microfiber towels then use rubber bands to hold the cloths in place. Use this to clean dust off of blinds!
⭐️For garbage disposals you can clean and sharpen the blades by making ice cubes with 3/4 water and 1/4 vinegar in each cube and add a piece of lemon in each as well (maybe use the lemons you used on your faucets). Once frozen, while running cold water, send the ice cubes down the disposal with it turned on.
⭐️Using Dawn dish soap, spread all over the bathtub, then, using a new broom (I suggest buying a broom specifically for bathtubs), scrub and sweep. Sounds crazy but once you scrub and rinse, your tub will almost look new AND you don't have to hurt your back by bending over to scrub.
