I debated to write this because I dont want anything to be misconstrued. Sincere prayers lifted up for Houston and potentially Florida and all in the path of Irma. Folks 80% of those in Houston were without Flood insurance. I would never use a tragedy for gain in anyway... for yourself in Ky.. get Flood insurance, at least call your Insurance providor and get a quote. If you are not in a flood zone it is very affordable.

thought for the day.. LIFE INSURANCE.. a $50,000 or 100k 20 or 30 year term will at least stick you in the ground, and pay for your burial and give your family some cushion. Its inexpensive especially if you are young.. Buy it, buy it from us, buy it from another agent.... just buy it! Your family deserves it!

FLOOD POLICIES are seperate policies.... NOT included on your Homeowner Policy and not the same as sewer/water back up. Dont get caught holding the shop vac or worse a ruined home. Call us or your current Insurance Agent and make sure you understand the difference in these coverages so you can make an intelligent buying decison. Dont just assume you are covered.. Another of our carriers posting a future 10% increase in auto premium rates.. #1 reason Distracted driving #2 reason increase cost in technology of cars and the cost of repair.. folks we cant do anything about the technooy changes with our vehicles. We CAN do something about texting while driving. This has got to stop folks.. people are dying from this and obviously we all are paying in some form or another with much higher Auto Insurance rates.

What I hear from a lot of people looking for quotes is the following:

You are required by law to maintain continuous insurance. If you are not going to maintain continuous insurance, you must surrender your license plate to the county clerk.
