Weather alert! Friday will bring a 100% chance of rain, 20-30 MPH wind, and gusts may be in the 40-50 MPH range. If you have lightweight items in your yard, take them inside or tie them down. If you drive a high-profile vehicle, the wind is not your friend, be careful, especially when driving on inclines. Plan for power outages - turn your refrigerator to the lowest setting now so food will last as long as possible in a power outage. Check the batteries in your flashlights and know how to find them in the dark. There will be a flood watch, so remember to turn around and don’t drown. If you see people stranded in the water, call 911 ASAP! Text “LENSAlert” to 67283 to receive emergence alerts. Be safe!
