My journey started long before I became a business owner.
I was a little Black girl with big hopes of being successful, but I didn’t always believe it was possible for me. My self-esteem was low, and I didn’t have someone close enough to me who showed me that this kind of success could be real and attainable. So for a long time, I carried dreams quietly—wondering if they would ever truly come to life.
As I grew, I realized that my story didn’t have to be defined by what I saw around me. Instead, it could be shaped by what I chose to believe and build. Becoming a business owner was not just a career decision—it was a decision to step into purpose, push past doubt, and create something I once wasn’t sure I was allowed to have.
This journey has not been one I’ve walked alone. I am blessed with an incredible team who shows up, works hard, and believes in the mission just as much as I do. Their support has been a key part of every milestone we’ve reached.
Most importantly, my husband has played a vital role in this journey. He has been my biggest supporter—encouraging me when I needed strength, reminding me of my purpose when I questioned myself, and standing beside me through every high and low. His belief in me has been a foundation I’ve leaned on more than words can fully express.
Looking back on these five years, I see growth, resilience, and grace. I see a woman who didn’t let doubt have the final word. And I see a future that is still unfolding, built on faith, hard work, and gratitude for everyone who has been part of this journey.
This milestone is not just about success—it is about becoming.
