Check your mail: State Farm is sending billions of dollars back to millions of auto insurance customers.

The insurance giant has begun distributing a record $5 billion dividend to eligible customers covering more than 49 million vehicles nationwide — the largest payout of its kind in the company's more than 100-year history.

Payments vary by state and are based on a percentage of premiums paid on qualifying policies in 2025. Millions have already received their money, but State Farm says the nationwide rollout will take several months to complete.
