Celebrating 70 Years of The First State Bank

Since May 7, 1956, we have had the pleasure of serving you. We are a 6th generation, family owned and operated, Texas community bank. We are independent by choice, and friendly by nature. We care about our neighbors, agriculture, and the economy of today and tomorrow.

What started as a way to help our agricultural community in Louise, TX, has now grown to 14 branches, one mortgage loan production office and online banking services. Technology may have changed over time, but our commitment to our customers and our communities has not. We live up to our motto: “Friendliest Bank Anywhere.” Come in and let us prove it to you!
