Rates have stayed largely stable over the past two weeks, with only routine daily movement. Even the June employment report — typically a catalyst for rate shifts — didn’t spark much reaction. With a shortened trading week, markets may not have had enough time to fully digest the data.

Rates touched nine-month highs earlier this week to levels not seen since July 2025. They have increased 0.75% since the start of the Iran War. They dropped a little from those highs at the end of the week but remain about 0.375% higher than my last update. There may be some improvements if an Iran....

Rates have decreased a little over the last week but unlike the Stock market they have not recovered to pre-Iran conflict levels. They are still around 0.375% higher.

Rates continue to increase with the Iran War and the knock-on effects on the price of oil and inflation concerns. Rates are now up 0.75% since the conflict started and back to 8-Month highs last seen in August 2025.
