Good Neighbor Community Fund

State Farm Agent Derek J. Ennis continue to show his involvement in our local community. In conjunction with the State Farm Community Fund, Agent Derek J. Ennis presents a check in the amount of $500.00 to Reverend Father Kenneth Ugwu to support the Mini Kitchen at Holy Name of Jesus Church. The Mini Kitchen was established roughly 40 years ago to help feed the poor and disenfranchised of the community. Especially now, during these challenging times, it is vitally important to share our time and treasure with those less fortunate. This is one of many community outreach events Derek J. Ennis has participated in over the years.

First, I want to thank all of you who took the time to send me a birthday wish today. It is a tremendous blessing to have you in my life and I hope to continue to be a blessing in yours. It gives me great joy to share my birthday with State Farm Insurance Co. Today, June 4th , we celebrate our founders day and 98th year anniversary as an Insurance Co. I am especially proud of how State Farm has handled the pandemic and civil unrest that we are facing today. Today, I’ve learned that State Farm pledged one million dollars to support the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund that will focus on education and research dealing with social injustice. These are just a few things that State Farm is doing for our community. We are in the business of helping people realize their dreams. Protecting people’s lives, and what they’ve worked so hard for, and being there through some of their greatest tragedies is the foundation of who we are and what we do on a daily basis. Again, I am proud to be a part of such a wonderful organization and hope you feel the same about State Farm as I do.
