Nakatomi Plaza Nakatomi Plaza is a 40 story building located in Century City, Los Angeles, California and is owned by the Nakatomi Corporation of Japan.

It was the site of America's first false terrorist crisis which was created by Hans Gruber formally of the German Volksfrei (People's free) movement as a cover to steal $640 million in negotiable bearer bonds from the building's vault.
