Bill Whitaker has been named a new 60 Minutes correspondent. The CBS News veteran, currently based in Los Angeles, will move to New York and begin appearing on the long-running newsmagazine beginning in the fall, 60 Minutes executive producer and CBS News chairman Jeff Fager announced Thursday.
