As we approach 2025 AEP, and as someone who gets field feedback on a daily basis from my 600+ medicare agents, I believe medicare advantage is on the wrong path. It's pretty frustrating that most seniors look for grocery allowance, part B rebates, utilities allowance and free ginseng when choosing their medicare advantage plans. This is sad as most people value their auto insurance more than their health insurance because people do not understand. Medicare advantage is no longer about healthcare, it seems........payors, medical groups and agents are better than this. Quality of healthcare will suffer if we continue on this path. Just my 2 cents.

Today, December 7th, is the last day for the annual medicare open enrollment season.
