Hadn’t shot a gun in over 30 years! I shot this little 38 and it had a huge amount of kickback so I changed to a 357 and then before I knew that the day was over and I didn’t get to shoot any automatics…It was super fun shooting up in Lopez Canyon on a private range with my friend Janine the Machine, Stephanie and Heather. We had the best instructor Kevin Mills who was all about safety first.

Last night was the 20 year anniversary of the documentary film Lalo Guerrero: The Original Chicano” (2006) Lalo Guerrero made being a Chicano feel good! 🌯This documentary film features so many great interviews and really taps into our culture and our history- all with the greatest sense of humor. To hear the story about the famous song “No Tortillas” was hysterical! The Day In East LA exhibit was super cool as well.
