A few days ago, we posted about filming taking place across the street from our office. 🎬

Based on the storefronts, we thought they were taking us back to the 1980s.
Then we spotted a shop owner standing guard on the rooftop and realized the setting was more like April 1992.

Filming took place Tuesday and Wednesday. 🎥 Thursday & today, crews dismantled the set, and by the time we were going home, it's back to “normal.”

💜 Together Tuesdays 💜
We’ll be sharing photos from our 75th Anniversary Luncheon (hopefully) every week. One small disclaimer 🙄 we personally know many of the people who attended, but not everyone, and there was definitely musical chairs/table hopping going on throughout the event. So if we accidentally mislabel anyone in a photo, please know it’s completely unintentional.

💜 We'll start with some members of our board of directors and supervisory committee, past & present. A special thank you to them for the time, care, and dedication they’ve given to our CU and our members. 🥰

UMe Credit Union, California's CU (formerly California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues), Parishioners Federal Credit Union, Fox FCU, (Mabuhay CU, CalCom Federal Credit Union, Mattel FCU) and JACom CU were all there to celebrate because that’s what credit unions do...we support each other. 💜

Still no Facebook access at the office 😕 but we wanted to give everyone a quick heads up.

Prep for filming begins tomorrow across the street/catty-corner from our office, with filming scheduled next week. 🎬 There may be intermittent street closures, parking restrictions, and/or traffic delays in the area. It may or may not affect access to our office. 🚧

🚧 We’ll be CLOSING EARLY tomorrow (Fri, May 8th) at 2:00pm.

What started as a clogged toilet revealed a much bigger plumbing issue. 😬

We know it’s been a little quiet on our page lately, but we haven’t forgotten about you! 💜

At JACom, protecting your information and data security is a top priority. 🔐 A while back, we implemented a new firewall… and it’s doing its job a little too well by blocking Facebook at the office. 😅

Although we’ve missed Facebook, we’ve also been busy behind the scenes preparing for our upcoming 75th Anniversary celebration and other projects.

So for now, our Facebook posting schedule may be a little unpredictable while we work on getting Facebook whitelisted again. Since posts are currently being made after hours and from home, they won't be as frequent as before...but we’ll do our best to keep in touch! 💜
