Among those pictured are members who joined JACom more than 50 years ago, while even some of our "newer" members have been with us for over 20 years. 😊

It was a busy Saturday! 😊

We started the day at Walk the Farm (Tanaka Farms) and ended it at East San Gabriel Valley Japanese Community Center, Inc.’s 75th Anniversary celebration.

Maybe it was too early in the morning but we totally forgot to look for our sign during our walk to take a picture. 🤦

Congratulations to ESGVJCC on their 75th Anniversary! 🥂 Wishing you many more years of serving and strengthening our community. 💜

This photo features representatives from Asian American Drug Abuse Program (AADAP)and Caring & Sharing of South Bay, along with former Board and Supervisory Committee volunteers Ron and Darryl.

AADAP has been serving our community for decades through programs focused on health, recovery, youth development, and family services. Caring & Sharing of South Bay supports local students and families through scholarships, educational programs, and community service.

Thank you Sam, Rahimah, Hiro, and everyone for your friendship, support, and for being part of the JACom family. 😊

We may have gotten completely skunked 🦨 in the raffle, but we still had a great time.

One of the highlights of our 75th Anniversary Luncheon was celebrating with so many community partners and supporters.

A few days ago, we posted about filming taking place across the street from our office. 🎬

Based on the storefronts, we thought they were taking us back to the 1980s.
Then we spotted a shop owner standing guard on the rooftop and realized the setting was more like April 1992.

Filming took place Tuesday and Wednesday. 🎥 Thursday & today, crews dismantled the set, and by the time we were going home, it's back to “normal.”
