A growing company which engages in providing funding solutions to SMBs in the US is looking for a Junior Underwriter.
Responsibilities
Perform credit analysis and reviews of borrowers funding applications.
Analyze bank statements and other supporting documents required for funding.
Work with other underwriting team members on approving complex files, instructing Sales Managers
Overseeing administrative functions (issued agreements)
Participate in structuring risk policy for the company
Making critical funding decisions based on due diligence completed
Taking part on other tasks delegated by the management
Qualifications
English - Mother tongue level
Familiarity with business sectors in the US (SMBs) - an advantage
Previous living in the US - an advantage
Ability to read financial statements
Excellent analytical skills and problem solving capabilities.
Bachelors’ degree preferred or related experience (Math, Business, Economics - an advantage)
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Team player: works well with other underwriters, other team members and business partners.
Strong verbal skills - Must be comfortable on the phones talking with and interviewing business owners.
Location in Herzliya Pituach.
Work hours take place on afternoon-night (4pm-12pm/6pm-2am)
