Everyone should get all of the COVID vaccinations & all of the available boosters, including the latest booster to protect against the more contagious OMICRON variant, before the government stops providing them for FREE. We don’t know how the medical insurance carriers will handle the vaccines after the government’s contracts expire but the FREE vaccinations are unbeatable.

The American Rescue Plan provides a 100% COBRA premium subsidy for individuals and families who experienced involuntary job loss or a reduction in hours causing a loss of medical coverage. It is available from April 1-September 30,2021.

The AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN (ARP) ensures that no one pays more than 8.5% of their income for their health plan premium. Consequently you may be able to lower your monthly premium by switching from an off exchange Individual & Family Plan to a Covered CA plan and receive additional financial help to lower your premium by qualifying for a premium subsidy. The SPECIAL ENROLLMENT (SEP) began April 12.
